I watched the Netflix docos, followed athletes on social media, & i thought about trying CrossFit for years.
I’ve always been pretty active by dancing, gym & playing volleyball, but didn’t think I’d be able to keep up at all! …. then I saw the Facebook ad for CF02 and decided it’s time to give it a try!
The combination of barbell weights and crazy gymnastic movements was pretty scary at first.
But I can’t believe how much I’ve progressed & am starting to enjoy dropping the bar now!
My first “bright spot” was being the first nominated bright spot back in May & Holly posted a video from my very first week learning how to do a clean & jerk
I also celebrated eating breakfast 3 days that week & started to have more energy.
Nutrition! Simple focus on clean eating, 3 meals, and getting loads of veggies in every day.
If I could go back in time and I would tell myself “Don’t overthink it and just walk in the door and get started
The coaches are great and the community is amazing, like a second family!”
