I’d been interested in CrossFit for a while as the compound movements reflect what we do day to day rather than normal workouts at the gym and CF athletes seem to have a much more balanced body composition (ie no one misses legs day at CF!). I tried CrossFit at a couple of other boxes in recent years but was injured each time so that put me off a bit. What I liked about CFO was the number of on-ramp sessions which focussed on ensuring I had correct form before being let loose in the group classes.
One thing I really liked about CF Oxygen that it was unlike the training at the other boxes I’d tried and I liked how small the class sizes were and how encouraging the coaches and the rest of the class were.
My first bright spot was getting Kipping pull-ups. My next goal is becoming a beast through nutrition and training.
If I could go back in time I would tell myself to “Join sooner!”
