CrossFit is….
CrossFit is many things. By definition CrossFit is a lifestyle characterised by safe, effective exercise and sound nutrition. CrossFit can be used to accomplish any goal, from improved health to weight loss to better performance. The program works for everyone—people who are just starting out and people who have trained for years.
CrossFit is Community. You have the opportunity to create lasting bonds with the people in your gym. You go through tough workouts together, you push each other and celebrate together. Each gym forms friendly rivalries with the gyms around them. CrossFit has developed into a community of thousands of like minded affiliates all across the world, and when you are traveling you are welcomed to drop in as if they were your own.
CrossFit is Health. You are improving your fitness. No matter your baseline, everyone is welcome. You are inspired by others around you to eat better, to push a little bit harder and improve each day one rep at a time.
The Workouts, are constantly varied, each day is different. We don’t train back and bi’s on Mondays, Legs on Tuesdays and so on, we train the whole body, most days. With a mixture of stimulus’ (the why), intensities (how hard) and movements, each day is exciting and different.
CrossFit is whatever you make it. You get out, what you put in. Everyone is on a different journey with a different purpose and goals.
